Job Summary
Lead development and delivery of software-defined networking solutions for software-defined datacenters, designing network automation platforms in Python, Go, and JavaScript to reduce manual intervention. Architect SDN solutions and orchestration systems across multi-cloud environments, integrating monitoring frameworks to ensure infrastructure reliability while developing maintainable infrastructure-as-code. Mentor junior engineers on automation principles, conduct code reviews, and drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve delivery speed and code quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile scrum environment to troubleshoot network applications and establish measurable validation standards for secure coding and automated testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure development, DevOps networking engineering, or related occupation
- formal training or certification on software engineering and network engineering concepts
- Strong experience developing software with Python, Go, JavaScript, RUST and Shell Scripting
- experience leading development projects in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies including BGP, VRF, MPLS, IP, TCP, and UDP
- hands-on experience in cloud networking architectures such as VPC, CNI, hybrid cloud connectivity patterns
- engineering experience with VMware NSX-T for software-defined networking solutions
- NSX-T logical switching
- NSX-T routing
- NSX-T load balancing
- NSX-T distributed firewall
- NSX-T micro-segmentation
- NSX-T overlay and underlay network configuration
- Experience with CI/CD tools (specifically Jenkins)
