Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer responsible for providing technical guidance to teams, developing secure, high-quality production code, reviewing peers’ work, and driving decisions affecting product design and operations. Acts as a subject-matter expert across areas of focus, promotes firmwide SDLC frameworks and best practices, advocates for cutting-edge technologies, and helps cultivate a diverse, inclusive team culture. Requires hands-on experience delivering scalable, cloud-native systems, strong ML/NLP capabilities (training and fine-tuning large language models, transformer architectures), and proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow or PyTorch), along with deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and API gateway patterns.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training and certification with 5+ years of experience building high performance services and integrating tooling
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Experience in machine learning and natural language processing with demonstrated expertise in training and fine tuning large language models, transformer architectures, and deployment of AI systems
- Advanced in two or more programming language(s) Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, SSL/TLS inspection, traffic interception, API gateway patterns
- Proven ability to build scalable distributed systems handling high throughput traffic in a cloud native environment.
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Demonstrated ability to guide and influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations
