Job Summary
Senior Lead Software Engineer responsible for providing technical guidance, delivering secure production code, driving product design decisions, and contributing to SDLC practices. Requires API-first services experience, proficiency in C#, C++, Go, Python, and Java, cloud-native distributed systems, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, API gateway patterns, and related security integrations. Location: Plano, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training and certification with 5+ years of experience building high performance API first services and integrating tooling
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in two or more programming language(s) C#, C++, Go, Python, and Java
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, SSL/TLS inspection, traffic interception, API gateway patterns
- Proven ability to build scalable distributed systems handling high throughput traffic in a cloud native environment.
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- API Gateway Development
- Custom proxy development
- SSE, CASB or SIEM integration experience
