Job Summary
Lead software engineer in Graph Managed Services within JPMorgan Chase CFP; responsible for providing technical guidance to the business and technical teams, developing secure and high-quality production code, designing and implementing scalable cloud-native software solutions, influencing product design and operations, serving as a subject matter expert, mentoring junior engineers, advocating for firmwide SDLC practices, promoting adoption of leading-edge technologies, maintaining managed service environments (dev, test, prod), and contributing to an inclusive team culture.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on engineering infrastructure and software solutions concepts
- Proficient advanced 10 years experience
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Extensive experience in software development and delivery
- Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. Cloud, Infrastructure As Code)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g Ansible, SaltStack)
- Experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field
- Understanding the importance of great documentation and a passion for helping customs
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and communication skills
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Graph database technologies (TigerGraph, Neo4j) and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Spinnaker)
- Experience with Active Directory, Kerberos and DNS
