Job Summary
Sr Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology; design and implement enterprise-grade ML platforms, develop web applications using Java and Python in service-oriented/microservices architecture, integrate with AWS services, build automation and monitoring tools, establish governance standards for ML platforms, collaborate with Product teams in Agile sprints, leverage AI agents for prototyping and demonstrations, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions with strong performance and security practices.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on Software Engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Deep expertise in Java and Spring Framework
- Production experience with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, S3, EC2, CloudWatch, NLB)
- Strong command of RDBMS (Postgres, Oracle) and database design
- Proven track record in system design, testing, and operational stability
- Experienced with pair programming agents such as GitHub Copilot to accelerate prototyping.
- Solid grasp of Agile, CI/CD, and security best practices
- Experience developing in large-scale corporate environments
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers
- Completed AWS Developer or Solutions Architect Certification
