Job Summary
Senior/Lead Software Engineer responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable Java-based solutions for OMS in equities. Responsibilities include writing secure, high-quality production code, developing front-end UIs using JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular), conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers, staying current with industry trends, troubleshooting front-end and OMS-related issues, and collaborating to deliver robust, scalable software across distributed systems. Preference for experience with OMS platforms, KDB, AI/ML concepts, and AWS.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
- Expert in Java (17 or above)
- Strong understanding of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and Java garbage collection (GC)
- Experience with multi-threaded and distributed systems
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
