Sr Lead Software Engineer - Java & Databricks

Job Summary
Lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable Java applications leveraging advanced features and frameworks; mentor team members in Java coding, testing, and debugging; develop intelligent agent-based systems using machine learning and AI techniques; collaborate to design, train, and deploy AI agents that enhance user experience and automate business processes; build and optimize data pipelines on Databricks with Spark for large-scale data processing and ML workflows; develop and maintain collaborative notebooks integrating Databricks with cloud storage and enterprise data sources for real-time insights; provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- 5+ years of applied experience in enterprise environments
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in Java and Python
- AWS cloud native experience
- Experience with Databricks and Spark
- Mentorship or leadership capabilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
