Job Summary
Sr Lead Software Engineer responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing scalable hybrid cloud solutions for transactional and analytics workloads within JPMorgan Chase's Wholesale Credit Risk team. Role emphasizes mentoring team members, collaborating with development leads and senior stakeholders, writing and reviewing high-quality code, conducting code reviews, presenting technical concepts and project updates, and driving technical excellence across distributed systems, data pipelines, and analytics platforms using Java, Python, and React. Must demonstrate strong experience in hybrid cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP or private cloud), CI/CD/DevOps practices, and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on hybrid cloud architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience
- Proven experience in hybrid cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud)
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Java, Python, React or similar
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, data pipelines, and analytics platforms
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and modern software engineering practices
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with development leads and senior stakeholders
