Sr Lead Security Engineer

Job Summary

Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams while developing secure production code and reviewing others' work. Facilitate security requirements clarification across multiple networks and collaborate with senior leaders to recommend business modifications during vulnerability periods. Serve as a subject matter expert influencing project decisions on leading-edge technologies, applying reuse-first and AI-assisted practices within SDLC routines to strengthen security testing. Utilize enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate risk analysis and documentation, validating outputs and ensuring sensitive data handling. Requires 5+ years of cloud service development experience with proficiency in OAuth, SAML, and API security.

  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
  • Deep knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols
  • Deep knowledge of SSL/TLS inspection

  • Deep knowledge of API gateway patterns
  • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support security engineering workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity
  • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted security recommendations before adoption
  • Ability to escalate uncertainty
  • Ensuring outcomes align to security, resiliency, and auditability expectations
