Sr. (Lead) Market Design Specialist I (II)

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive analysis of electricity market trends and ISO/RTO rules to inform design decisions and optimize market structures for system reliability. Develop innovative strategies and position papers to support market design alternatives while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies. Manage conflicting expectations of market participants and deliver presentations on complex ideas. Lead implementation of complex market design initiatives, driving cross-functional teams to consensus on selected approaches. Draft and revise transmittal letters and affidavits for FERC filings in coordination with legal counsel. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or Mathematics with five years of experience; MS degree or eight years of experience preferred.
