Sr Lead Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary
Lead infrastructure solution design and delivery across compute, storage, network, and virtualization platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and business objectives. Drive initiatives from concept to production, including build, migration, upgrade, and decommission activities while overseeing timelines and stakeholder communication. Establish runbooks, monitoring standards, and capacity planning criteria to improve incident prevention and detection. Proactively identify resiliency gaps, single points of failure, and security exposures, executing mitigation plans and architectural changes. Translate business requirements into engineering designs, validate AI-assisted recommendations, and enforce security-by-design principles including identity controls and encryption. Foster partnerships with application teams and technology partners to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts
- 5+ years applied experience
- Extensive experience in infrastructure engineering
- proven ownership of solution design and delivery in large-scale enterprise environments
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment
