Job Summary
Senior Lead Architect at JPMorganChase leads architecture governance and drives evaluation of current and emerging technologies to shape target state architecture across software applications and platforms. Responsibilities include providing technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors; developing secure, high-quality production code and reviewing others’ code; influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations; serving as a subject-matter expert in architecture domains; and advocating firmwide software development life cycle practices while promoting diversity and inclusion. Location is Wilmington, DE; full-time on-site role with a focus on architecture governance, technology evaluation, and cross-team guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s), applications, and architecture
- Advanced knowledge of software architecture, applications, and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge in one or more technical disciplines (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little to no oversight
- Practical cloud native experience
- Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to select or recommend the best solutions for the future state architecture
