Job Summary
Perform precision cleaning, inventory management, quality control, and sterilization through autoclaving for labware operations. Collect used materials from various labs to restock dedicated points of use while managing gas, garment, and dry ice supplies. Partner with clients to understand labware needs and ensure stock availability, maintaining accurate records and tracking business metrics. Handle gas cylinder orders and safely manage hazardous materials in a cold room environment. Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards while wearing required PPE. Work independently at customer sites Monday through Friday, lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for full shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience with customer facing - retail, inventory or related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Safety-first approach
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
- Ability to safely manage encounters with HAZMAT materials
- Knowledge of gas meters
- Ability to use equipment like pushcarts and forklifts
- Must successfully complete and satisfy Thermo Fisher's pre-employment screening (including background check and drug test)
- Must satisfy any customer-mandated screening, credentialing, or badging requirements
