Job Summary
Senior HVAC Service Technician responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and completing electronic/mechanical repairs of residential HVAC equipment and water heaters. Performs preventative maintenance, assists in sealed system HVAC, water heaters, and advanced appliance repair as part of training. Delivers exceptional customer service and clear communication with homeowners, completes service tickets and time/material logs, and remains on-call for emergencies. Maintains company vehicles/tools/equipment and adheres to safety protocols and company policies. Minimum qualifications include 5 years of HVAC experience or equivalent vocational training, state licensing, EPA-608 Type 2 or higher, strong communication and customer service, advanced HVAC and appliance repair skills, advanced sales capability, and a valid driver’s license with availability for weekends/holidays/overtime. Preferred qualification: NATE Certification.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of work experience in basic heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service OR a combination of work and accredited vocational training equaling 5 years
- All required State licensing
- Valid EPA-608 Technician Certification, Type 2 or higher
- Demonstrated communication skills (oral and written)
- Proven customer service skills
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC service tools and materials
- Advanced skills in servicing appliances, heating and air conditioning equipment, and water heaters
- Advanced sales skills to promote all services offered by the company
- Valid driver's license, ability to meet driving standards
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
