Job Summary
Administer and coordinate WBS (AFE) workflows for expense and capital projects while creating and maintaining expenditure accounting master data within the ERP system. Prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and analyze financial data using GAAP principles to address challenges in joint venture transactions. Verify financial transactions against COPAS standards and formulate strategic recommendations to improve departmental efficiency. Collaborate with the Operations Accounting team to gather information for effective joint venture financial management and provide stakeholders with insights for strategic planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, MIS or any other related discipline
- 3 – 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in Joint Venture Accounting, Financial Analysis & Reporting, Account Reconciliation or a related field
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS)
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
- Financial Analysis
