Job Summary
Install, modify, maintain, and repair all client computer equipment including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly system maintenance while maintaining stock and inventory records of hardware and maintenance logs. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair failing parts using instrumentation and software to optimize equipment performance. Act as an interface between users and outside support organizations, answering inquiries in person and via telephone. Install and upgrade hardware and software as needed, effectively escalating and documenting support calls where resolution is not possible. Lead or participate in special projects and serve as a Subject Matter Expert on specific technologies. Shift: M-F, 7:00am to 4:00pm. Salary: $28.70 - $43.61 / hour.
Required Qualifications
- at least 2 years plus of corporate Help Desk/Hardware experience
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
- Certifications: A+, HP
- Thorough understanding and knowledge of PC components and their respective interface requirements
- 2 years experience in PC repair and/or assembly
- Ability to install and test new PC systems
- Proven computer hardware troubleshooting ability
- Solid understanding of networks and their relation to end users
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to use small hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers and more
- Must be able to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds

Desired Qualifications
- N+ certification preferred
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
