Job Summary
SR. IT Project Manager responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating complex IT and business projects to ensure goals are met within time and budget. Develops project plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, budgets, risk/issue management, change controls, and resource allocation. Oversees cross-functional teams, vendor management, and reporting using Microsoft Project Online and Power BI. Requires extensive experience in large-scale projects, strong communication, and leadership to drive accountability and project delivery. Prefer PMP certification and advanced degrees; hands-on experience with JIRA, Power BI, and enterprise project governance. Location: Taylor, TX; on-site. Salary aligns with $70/hour guidance as a minimum expectation in annualized terms; PMP certification highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Requires minimum 8 years related work experience in excess of degree requirements
- Requires minimum 6 years as Project Manager on large-scale projects
- Project schedule creation and maintenance using Microsoft Project Online or Project Server
- Project reporting using Microsoft Project Online and Power BI
- Minimum 2 years in a program manager role (preferred)
- Task assignment and tracking using JIRA (preferred)
- Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field (Required)
- Master's Degree: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or related field (Preferred)
- Or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required
- CERTIFICATION PMP Project Management Professional (Highly Preferred)
