Job Summary
Lead complex, enterprise-wide IT projects and programs by applying traditional and agile methodologies to manage scope, schedules, budgets, and resources across cross-functional teams. Develop relationships with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements such as GxP, SOX, and HIPAA. Guide and collaborate across multiple teams and organizational levels, including distributed teams and external vendors, utilizing project management tools like MS Project, Planview, and Jira. Manage financial acumen and risk resolution to deliver projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints. Requires advanced degree plus six years of experience or Bachelor's plus eight years in large-scale enterprise implementations; PMP certification required. Standard work schedule Monday through Friday with up to 20% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of IT project management experience, including large-scale enterprise implementations
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or preferred
- Travel may be required up to 20%
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Agile/Scrum certifications (SAFe, CSM, etc.) preferred
- Experience with project/portfolio management tools (MS Project, Planview, Jira, etc.)
- Demonstrated success managing complex technical projects in regulated environments (GxP, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
- Excellent financial acumen and budget management capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to guide and collaborate across multiple teams and organizational levels
- Experience managing distributed teams and external vendors
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and project management software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
- Experience with enterprise systems like ERP, CRM, LIMS preferred
- Life sciences or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in project delivery within scope, timeline and budget constraints
- Excellent risk management and issue resolution skills
