Sr. IT Field Technician

Job Summary
Provide on-site support for desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and telecommunications equipment across multiple Texas locations. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues while prioritizing service requests to minimize operational disruption. Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including structured cabling, VoIP phones, and wireless site surveys. Manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365, ensuring compliance with security standards and supporting onboarding and offboarding processes. Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and asset information. Requires five years of field services experience, valid driver's license, and ability to travel extensively within the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible IT support experience in field services, desktop support, or technical support environment
- Valid driver's license
- an acceptable motor vehicle record
- the ability to travel extensively within territory, including occasional travel
- the ability to travel independently throughout the service territory using reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft 355 or Azure Active Directory certifications
- Experience with ITSM ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, ConnectWise or similar)
- Familiarity with ITIL fundamentals and service-delivery best practices
- Experience in a multi-site or enterprise environment with distributed IT support
- Experience supporting Windows-based hardware, software, printers, telecommunications, and network-connected devices
- Knowledge of structured cabling standards and network infrastructure installation
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage priorities across multiple locations
