Job Summary
Senior IC role owning the design, deployment, and operations of enterprise UC platforms (Microsoft Teams and Cisco UC). Responsibilities include architecture of hybrid/cloud collaboration, PSTN connectivity and dial plan design, SBC/SIP trunking, voicemail and call flows, Teams Rooms and MS Teams Auto Attendants/Call Queues, emergency calling compliance, incident RCA and post-change documentation, and mentoring junior engineers. Requires expertise with CUCM, Unity, Webex, Teams Phone, Direct Routing, Operator Connect, SBCs, SIP/RTP, and ITIL/ITSM processes; includes driving modernization from legacy telephony to cloud-based collaboration and delivering scalable, secure UC services across global environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience engineering and supporting enterprise Unified Communications / VoIP platforms
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM, Unity, Webex) and Microsoft Teams
- Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, call routing, QoS, and voice troubleshooting methodologies
- Certification Cisco Collaboration certifications (CCNA/CCNP Collaboration) or Microsoft Teams/Voice certifications
