Job Summary
Architect and execute a comprehensive, forward-looking information security strategy for the Americas region, aligning it with global objectives and business outcomes. Design, implement, and refine security policies, standards, and control frameworks across all branches and business units while leading the enterprise-wide cyber risk management process. Direct global Security Operations Centers activities, oversee threat intelligence and incident response operations, and ensure ongoing compliance with international standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing, globally distributed team of security professionals, translating complex cybersecurity concepts into actionable business decisions for the regional executive team and Board of Directors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
- 12+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, IT, or risk management
- at least 5 years in an executive or senior global leadership role
- Proven track record of designing and leading enterprise security programs in complex, multinational environments
- Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, regulatory compliance, and incident response
- Experience building and scaling high-performing, cross-functional teams
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and executive presence
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, etc.)
