Sr. IT Business Analyst

Job Summary
Enhance IT product quality by gathering requirements, defining end-to-end business solutions, and collaborating with developers and architects on solution designs. Engage with business leaders to understand needs, manage stakeholder relationships, and enforce documentation standards across system integrations. Lead technology projects by analyzing vendor selections, setting expectations, mitigating impediments, and communicating weekly status updates. Conduct troubleshooting, execute root cause analysis, and develop user stories while performing unit, process, and system tests. Assist user communities with system understanding and monitor sprint progress, with occasional evening and weekend support required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5-7-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or Business Administration
- Minimum 3-5 year experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Navision application is a plus
- Knowledge in Finance, Human Resources or Supply Chain is highly favor
- College degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems or Business Administration highly favor
- Exceptional ability to position and 'sell' solutions that are reasonable, actionable, and cost-effective, including the ability to properly gauge the requirements and 'plug' the appropriate solution
- People skills, with the ability to engage diplomatically with stakeholders and communicate changes that may not be aligned with the original expectations
- Forward-thinking and ensuring solutions are brought to fruition and requirements are closed properly
- Knowledge of proper requirements specification and development, such as process/functional requirements definition methods, use case development, process flow diagrams

- Some flexibility in hours is permitted, employee must be available during the 'core' work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday and must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds
