Job Summary
Senior ISSO responsible for implementing and enforcing information system security policies across a large software development program, including security assessments, vulnerability remediation, IAVA management, SSP/IA documentation, configuration management for security software/hardware/firmware, and ensuring compliance with security standards and policies. Works with ISSM and security professionals to maintain operational security posture, document Certification & Accreditation, and support secure system operations across isolated, connected, and standalone environments. Preferred candidates will have extensive ISSO experience on large programs and DoD 8570 IAT II/IAM II compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field
- TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance
- At least 10 years of ISSO experience
- At least 5 years of experience with IAVA management tools
- At least 5 years of experience with SSPs and related documentation
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAT Level II or higher
- DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or higher
- Experience in security evaluations of software systems or architectures
- Experience in proposing and enforcing security policies
