Job Summary

Conduct functional tasks within the chemical management database and perform chemical assessments to support research operations. Execute physical inventory audits, manage onsite chemical storage, and review stock for evaluation and purge. Generate client reports on operational metrics, coordinate hazardous waste registration, and deliver chemical packages within the laboratory environment. Provide training on database processes and mentor teammates while maintaining accurate company data logs and supply ordering. Perform these duties in a cold room or lab setting involving fluctuating temperatures and hazardous materials, adhering to a Monday through Friday schedule from 9am to 5:30pm.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
Associates Degree, Biotechnology Course Certificate preferred, willing to consider experience in lieu of degree, preferred
3+ years of progressive proven experience, preferred
Possesses the ability to read, write and speak English
Demonstrate verbal, written and presentation skills
Maintain a high level of confidentiality for both customer and Thermo Fisher
Maintains Thermo Fisher Scientifics' Four-I Values
Experience in laboratory setting or services preferred; experience in cGMP environment preferred
Excellence in customer service skills
Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes team environment
