Job Summary
Use handheld RF scanners and mobile apps to perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing. Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store items, and maintain cycle counts to guarantee up-to-date inventory records. Own customer interactions by responding via email, following up by phone, and assisting internal partners to resolve questions. Uphold safety and organization standards by following site guidelines and wearing required PPE while working independently at customer sites. Proactively monitor stock levels and flag gaps to prevent operational impacts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience
- Confident using RF handheld scanners or mobile scanning apps
- basic Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills—especially via email
- friendly, solution-focused approach
- A self-starter who thrives with detail, accountability, and teamwork
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- No hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed
- No contact lens allowed
- Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)
- Able to work with hazardous/toxic materials
- Must successfully complete and satisfy Thermo Fisher's pre-employment screening (including background check and drug test) and any customer-mandated screening, credentialing, or badging requirements
- Regular lifting of 30-40 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
- Using equipment like pushcarts and forklifts
- Standing, walking, and manual material handling
- Working in varied temperature environments
- Overtime work
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience in stand-up reach truck
