Sr. Inventory Management Specialist - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Use handheld RF scanners and mobile apps to perform replenishments, stock rotation, cycle counts, order entry, returns, and backorder processing. Receive and inspect shipments, scan and store items, and maintain cycle counts to guarantee up-to-date inventory records. Own customer interactions by responding via email, following up by phone, and assisting internal partners to resolve questions. Collaborate with supervisors to propose workflow improvements, uphold safety standards, and proactively monitor stock levels to prevent operational impacts. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at customer sites, lifting up to 40 lbs and wearing required PPE.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2–3 years of customer-facing, retail stocking, warehouse, or inventory-control experience
- Confident using RF handheld scanners or mobile scanning apps
- basic Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills—especially via email
- friendly, solution-focused approach
- A self-starter who thrives with detail, accountability, and teamwork
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Regular lifting of 30-40 lbs (up to 50 lbs occasionally)

- Standing, walking, and manual material handling
- working in varied temperature environments
- successfully complete and satisfy Thermo Fisher's pre-employment screening (including background check and drug test)
