Job Summary
Coordinate daily activities and schedules for the special procedure component of the Radiology department, ensuring effective and efficient patient services. Assist the interventional radiologist in complex diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures, including myelography, arthrography, and venography. Schedule patients, prepare equipment, and evaluate radiographs for technical accuracy while monitoring vital signs and maintaining aseptic techniques. Serve as a senior resource and team leader, managing staff assignments for 24-hour coverage, overseeing performance appraisals, and recommending personnel actions. Review and implement policy revisions, manage budget inputs, and collect statistical data for regulatory adherence. Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree required or Certificate (before Jan.1 2015) in Radiologic Technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) or Medical Education and Training Campus (METC)
- 3-4 years Minimum 3 years experience in vascular interventional environment (cardiac cath vascular or neuro interventional area)
- ARRT Registered with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with advanced certification in Cardiovascular (CV) Cardiac Interventional (CI) or Vascular Interventional (VI)
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Basic and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification

- ARRT Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technology ARRT (R) and (CT) or NMTCB (CT)
