Job Summary
Sr Internal Auditor at Mohawk Industries performing professional internal auditing work including planning, executing, and reporting on engagements; develops audit plans for assigned audits, oversees junior auditors, conducts interviews, examines documents and controls to assess adequacy and compliance, identifies issues, prepares working papers and audit reports for management, and develops on-the-job training in underperforming areas; requires strong communication, problem-solving, organizational skills, integrity with confidential data, proficiency in Microsoft Office, adaptability and ability to manage multiple projects; occasional travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
- CPA, CIA, or CISA certification, or active pursuit of a certification.
- Completion, within one year of employment, of “Senior Internal Auditor” class.
