Sr Internal Auditor

Senior Internal Auditor role at Generali Global Assistance. Lead end-to-end audits per IIA Standards and Generali methodologies; assess financial integrity, operational effectiveness, and regulatory compliance; develop risk-based audit plans; deliver planning, fieldwork, testing, reporting, and issue follow-up; build audit programs, evaluate internal controls across key processes; collaborate with audit teams and co-sourced audits; apply data analytics (Excel, IDEA) to enhance insights; identify improvements to mitigate risks and strengthen operations; present findings to leadership; track remediation and support special projects; prepare Audit Committee materials; stay updated on regulatory risks in the insurance sector; travel within the U.S. and work in a fully remote capacity. Education requirements include a HS diploma/GED and a Master’s degree in economics, business, finance, or law; relevant auditing experience and professional certification (CIA or similar) is preferred. The role is remote with a nationwide U.S. state list for residency; flexible hours with standard business-time overlap.
