Sr. Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer to lead complex architectural projects from concept through completion, requiring strong design sensibility and technical expertise. Responsibilities include managing teams, preparing design documents, conducting field investigations, coordinating with various disciplines, and adhering to budgets and timelines. A bachelor's or master’s degree in interior design is required, along with proficiency in various design tools, and experience in producing construction documents in an A/E consulting firm. Candidates must demonstrate effectiveness in problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in interior design
- Adhere to a budget and timelines
- Able to manage junior and intermediate designers on team
- Experience producing Interior Design and construction documents in an A/E consulting firm
- Proficiency in REVIT (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, SketchUp, ENSCAPE, visualization skills
- Comfortable with a broad range of projects in design types
- Familiarity and experience working with building codes
- Familiarity with building design, and knowledge of material and furniture
- Proactive and assertive in problem solving
- Comfortable working on parallel assignments and working on multiple projects at a time
- Comfortable working in teams and making group presentations
- Familiarity with A/E industry BIM standards a plus
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation a plus
- LEED certification, and WELL AP a plus
- Good written and oral communications skills; fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English
- Willing to travel for work
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Commercial, Industrial and Mixed-Use Developments including Civic, Public Safety, Education, Healthcare, etc.
- LEED accreditation or other sustainability credentials
- Familiarity with Deltek, Bluebeam, or other project management tools
