Sr. Integration Engineer

Job Summary
Sr. Integration Engineer with responsibility for building integrations across multiple business domains, providing middleware expertise to develop scalable web services, APIs, and microservices. Leads proof-of-concept developments, anchors multiple streams, mentors integration engineers, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions in large digital transformation projects. Must have strong experience with on-premise and cloud middleware, API gateways, API design with Swagger/OpenAPI, and the ability to analyze business requirements and report risks and statuses to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study; will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- Five plus years of IT development experience
- One year of integration or API development experience
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience as an integration engineer in large digital transformation projects
- Experience in on-premise and cloud middleware systems like Tibco, Oracle SOA, BizTalk, Oracle Integration cloud or MuleSoft
- Experience with API gateway systems like Apigee or Azure API
- Swagger/OpenAPI knowledge
- PaaS technology awareness
- Analytical and communication skills
- Ability to understand and analyze business requirements and build scalable solutions
