Job Summary
Conduct targeted micro consulting engagements to solve customer business needs using the Workday application, acting as a trusted advisor for configuration guidance, troubleshooting, and feature demonstrations. Deliver small scope consulting responses, create presentations for Accelerator Webinars, and perform one-on-one guidance to accelerate feature adoption through tenant reviews. Review customer tenants to identify adoption opportunities, perform configuration and business requirements reviews, and deploy Workday features including full deployments. Maintain product expertise and certifications while staying current with industry practices and Workday roadmap updates. Travel up to 20% to support customers, prospects, and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Senior Integrations Consultant
- 5-7+ years of experience with HCM and Finance systems, including but not limited to Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards
- 3+ years of software consulting experience
- 3+ years of IT implementation experience
- Experience with Workday Cloud Connect for HCM, Cloud Connect for Financials and Workday Studio for HCM and Financials
- Proficiency with web service technologies with REST & SOAP based web services, JSON, XML and XSLT
- Fluency in English and another language either French, Spanish, Italian or German
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required
- Workday Certification or ability to certify in: Integrations, Studio
- Experience with middleware systems
- Ability to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are released
- Ability to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for our customers
- Ability to multitask and work on multiple engagements and deliverables simultaneously
- Strong critical thinking skills so as to understand complex, technical process issues and facilitate/influence decision making
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to travel up to 20%
