Job Summary
Senior Insurance Representative focusing on consultative auto and home insurance sales and retention within Sonnet's Digital Contact Centre. Handles inbound and outbound inquiries, builds customer relationships, identifies needs, and recommends tailored coverage solutions to retain policies. Drives growth through cross-selling and upselling, conducts policy reviews, and ensures compliance with regulatory and underwriting guidelines. Collaborates with service, underwriting, and billing teams, leverages CRM and contact center tools (Salesforce, Guidewire, Five9, Medallia) to deliver clear explanations of complex insurance terms, achieve KPIs, and provide first-contact resolution. Toronto-based, Ontario location with in-person office engagement; requires licensing and a college/university degree in business or insurance, plus 2–4 years of property and casualty experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active OTL and/or RIBO license for Ontario
- College diploma or university degree in business, insurance, or related field
- 2–4 years in property and casualty insurance
- Experience in sales or retention in a contact center or digital environment
- Proficiency with CRMs and contact center platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Guidewire, Five9, Medallia)
- Strong communication, objection handling, and closing skills
- Knowledge of provincial insurance regulations and compliance requirements
- English proficiency for customer service across Canada
- PAA certification preferred
