Job Summary

Conduct operational technology programs, interfaces, documentation, and support across assembly lines, well heads, datacenters, and beverage facilities. Perform instrument calibration, industrial network troubleshooting, and control cabinet design while executing RTU/PLC programming, SCADA development, and process controls. Manage commissioning and site turn-arounds requiring up to 80-hour weeks, with over 50% of the year spent traveling and working in the field. This role demands physical capabilities for lifting and driving, alongside expertise in Rockwell, Siemens, and Ignition platforms. Atlas OT delivers premium automation and controls services to industries including energy, manufacturing, and oil and gas.

Required Qualifications

  • Electrical Training or Certification
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel without restrictions
  • Familiarity with 61131-3 Programming (Ladder, SFB, Structured Text)
  • Strong ability to read electrical schematics
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and detail-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and discipline teams effectively
  • Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider, Red Lion, Opto22, Ignition, VT SCADA, Phoenix Contact, Emerson, and other platform experience
  • Advanced Process Control Expertise
  • Discrete Automation and Robotic Controls
  • Expertise with P&IDs, Control Narratives, Cause and Effects, SIS
  • Electrical Engineering
  • UL, IEC, NIST, CSA and other industrial standards
  • Drive expertise AC/DC/Servo/VFD
  • Travel expectation for the year is >50% of nights away from home
  • Physical capabilities in the field working on electrical equipment, lifting, pulling, standing weights in excess of 50 pounds, regular travel and driving
