Job Summary
Manage and support Azure, AWS, Windows, and Linux environments to ensure secure, reliable, and efficient operations. Install, configure, automate, and monitor cloud services, Windows domains, and Linux systems while performing operational engineering including platform upgrades, server patching, and troubleshooting. Provide off-hours on-call support and address day-to-day support cases with the highest quality. Create and update technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions. Contribute to troubleshooting production issues related to server and network topics while aligning business objectives with technical solutions for stakeholder requests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher education level, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information and Technology and Computer Engineering, or a related engineering/computer field
- Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience
- 3+ years technical support and administration of Microsoft Azure or AWS systems
- Experience with CloudFormation, Autoscaling, VPC in AWS
- Experience with Azure NSG
- Experience with PowerShell
- Experience with Active Directory, including maintaining several domains
- Working knowledge of VPN connectivity and client troubleshooting
- General knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure virtual network appliances
- Knowledge of network protocols such as: DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, SFTP
- Knowledge of network and TCP/IP routing/subnetting
- Knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery processes
- Must be able to reside within reasonable proximity to the designated location
- Must be available for on-call support
- Must be able to work in a hybrid work arrangement including working from a designated office location on a schedule determined by your leader and organizational needs
