Job Summary
Senior Infrastructure Developer responsible for leading the design, implementation, and delivery of SDN-based infrastructure solutions across multi-cloud environments. Focus on network automation, infrastructure-as-code, and scalable, reliable datacenter networks. Roles include architecting SDN/network orchestration, integrating monitoring with existing tools, and mentoring junior engineers on automation principles and DevOps practices. Requires strong Python/Go/JavaScript scripting skills, experience with cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), VMware NSX-T, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration in Agile environments. Emphasis on reducing manual intervention via automation, applying AI tools to development where applicable, and contributing to technical direction with a focus on reliability and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in network infrastructure development, DevOps networking engineering, or related occupation with formal training or certification in software engineering and network engineering concepts
- Strong experience with Python, Go, JavaScript, and Shell Scripting for network automation and infrastructure management
- Experience leading development projects in an Agile environment with cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of networking protocols and technologies (BGP, VRF, MPLS, IP, TCP, UDP)
- Cloud networking architectures (VPC, CNI, hybrid cloud connectivity) and VMware NSX-T experience
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), Kubernetes, and containerized network functions
- Infrastructure-as-code practices (Ansible, Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and communication skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including operations, security, and platform teams
