Job Summary
Conduct detection, triage, and case management for insider data risk and intellectual property protection. Support employee-risk procedures with HR and Legal, maintaining chain-of-custody discipline and documenting all investigations. Apply insider-risk detection use cases to identify material findings, escalating cases to the Insider Risk & IP Protection lead while partnering with Data Protection Monitoring on signal tuning. Contribute to pillar leadership reporting and metrics. Requires 4+ years in security or investigations, a Bachelor's degree, and experience with DLP or UEBA tooling. Based in Sleepy Hollow, NY with 4 days onsite per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, or related field
- 4+ years in security, insider risk, or investigations
- Experience supporting insider-risk or DLP investigations with HR/Legal partnerships
- Case management and documentation discipline, including chain of custody
- Familiarity with insider-risk detection signal and behavioral indicators
- Working knowledge of data protection concepts and how monitoring signal supports insider cases
- 4 days onsite per week
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred Insider-risk tooling experience (e.g., DLP, UEBA, insider-risk platforms)
- Investigations or e-discovery background
- Regulated industry experience
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CFE, or equivalent)
