Job Summary
Develop capacity planning models and process simulations to optimize manufacturing efficiency, costs, and workflow in high-volume production environments. Analyze labor, tool, and resource requirements to forecast demand and adjust plans for unforeseen circumstances. Lead continuous improvement projects by implementing Lean Manufacturing practices, conducting process mapping, time studies, and optimizing shop floor layouts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity, schedule adherence, and inventory management while ensuring strict compliance with cGMP, quality, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering or equivalent field of study
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a high volume, high tech, disposable or consumable production environment
- Experience in project management and/or layout planning
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel skills and statistics knowledge
- Extremely good data analysis skills and a logical approach to problem solving
- Strong knowledge and experience in AutoCAD 2D and Simulation Tool (FlexSim or SimCad or AnyLogic) with coding ability (Python, C++, etc) to navigate such tools
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- High level of discipline and integrity
- Ability to undertake multiple tasks and undergo job rotation/ cross training
- When required, able to work in noisy environment with appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE)
- When required, able to work in chemical environment with appropriate personal protection equipment (PPE)
- Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency
- Meticulous, keen attention to details and organized
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma or equivalent credentials in operational excellence
- GMP, ISO 13485, ISO 9001 standard trained
