Job Summary
Develop factory throughput and efficiency by applying Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize capacity planning, manpower allocation, and line balancing. Lead process modeling, simulation, and value stream mapping to identify constraints and eliminate waste while managing factory layout changes and equipment modifications. Create strategic roadmaps for facility expansion, automation integration, and infrastructure improvements to meet cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals. Partner with cross-functional teams to support competitive bids, business case development, and Make/Buy analyses. Requires an active Secret DoD clearance and a STEM degree with five years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Active and existing DoD Secret security clearance
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience with capacity/constraint analysis
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing best practices
- Experience with CAD software to develop factory layouts (e.g., AutoCAD)
