Job Summary
Lead industrial design execution from concept through commercialization for cycling and snow sports products like helmets, goggles, and footwear. Create innovative, user-focused solutions by developing sketches, CAD concepts, and technical packages that balance aesthetics, ergonomics, and manufacturability. Partner with Product Development and Manufacturing to ensure designs meet cost, quality, and timeline targets while evolving Giro's visual design language. Research consumer trends and emerging technologies to drive product strategy. Present concepts to internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial design experience focused on technical consumer products
- Strong understanding of product development processes, manufacturing methods, and material properties
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional industrial design capabilities and successful product commercialization
- Advanced visual communication skills, including sketching, concept development, and presentation
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
- Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
