Job Summary

Lead Sev1–Sev3 incidents as the single point of accountability for DoubleVerify’s Major Incident Management program. Drive real-time decision-making, escalation, and cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Product, Commercial, and Executive teams. Run incident communications to executives and stakeholders, translating technical issues into clear business impact. Own and improve the Major Incident Management process, lead post-incident reviews, and track metrics (e.g., MTTR, incident trends) while driving improvements. Coordinate with Product, Commercial, and Legal on client communications when needed; align incident response with business priorities including customer and revenue impact; improve tooling, automation, and workflows for incident response. Requires 7+ years in SRE/DevOps/Technical Operations/Incident Management; experience leading Sev1/Sev2 incidents in high-availability environments; solid cloud (AWS or GCP) and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty); strong leadership and executive communications; ITIL or similar certifications are a nice-to-have. Starting salary determined by qualifications and location; estimated salary range: $131,000 - $260,000 with bonus/equity/benefits.
