Job Summary
Review security event data from multiple sources to identify vulnerabilities and coordinate remediation with infrastructure and application owners. Run weekly and on-demand vulnerability scans using Rapid7 InsightVM, while proactively discovering missed issues like default passwords and open shares. Analyze threat intelligence reports to write risk analyses for zero-day critical vulnerabilities and draft security standards. Manage 30+ servers including daily maintenance, patching, and upgrades via InsightVM and Checkmarx. Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and collaborate with development teams to improve application security through secure coding practices. Address tickets assigned through the Ivanti ticketing system and conduct security product evaluations to recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in IT security policy and compliance management programs for healthcare or academic medical centers

- Demonstrated experience with IT security governance
