Job Summary
Senior HVAC Technician responsible for end-to-end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects. On-site field role servicing commercial HVAC systems at customer locations, including commissioning, troubleshooting, repairing, and starting up equipment, using knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts. Coordinates with team leader and customer to understand requirements, forecast issues, and synchronize on-site work; utilizes blueprints/engineering specifications; emphasizes safety; mentors team members; may require overtime and occasional overnight stays. Requirements include High School Diploma or equivalent, EPA Universal Certification, and 10+ years HVAC experience; valid driver’s license; proficiency with Microsoft Office and handheld devices; willingness to work in a dynamic field environment with travel expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent or certificate of completion from an accredited technical school
- EPA Universal Certification
- typically 10+ years of HVAC experience
- valid driver’s license for minimum 12 months with clean driving record
- operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices
