Job Summary
The role of Sr. HVAC Technician encompasses the operation, maintenance, and repair of various process support systems including chillers, AC units, air handlers, and compressors. The technician will ensure compliance with safety policies, oversee contractor safety, and conduct daily walkthroughs for maintenance needs. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, maintaining records, and expanding the preventive maintenance program. Required skills include refrigeration recovery, plumbing, electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to read blueprints. A high school diploma is required along with extensive HVAC experience and a universal refrigerant license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience with compressed air systems repair and maintenance
- Minimum 10 years of HVAC service experience, including the service of process chillers and cooling towers
- Current Universal refrigerant license
