Job Summary
Senior HVAC Technician responsible for supervising contractors and maintenance operations across HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and life-safety systems; provide hands-on maintenance, mentor junior staff, support preventive maintenance programs, and respond to emergencies while ensuring safety and building standards. Duties include supervising contractors, performing maintenance and preventive/predictive tasks, reading mechanical/electrical drawings and submittals, utilizing CMMS for work performance and procurement, coordinating with engineering leads and stakeholders, and maintaining operational efficiency of DX/chiller/air handling systems; requires 2+ licenses, EPA 608, and a valid driver’s license. Location is Houston, TX on-site with standard shift. The role does not sponsor visas.
Required Qualifications
- Second Grade Stationary Engineer's License
- Journeyman Refrigeration Technician's License / Refrigeration Technicians License
- EPA Section 608 Universal certification
- Valid state driver's license
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
