Sr. Human Resources Manager

Job Summary
Provide strategic and operational HR leadership across two Southern California production facilities, leading two HR Managers and partnering with Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership. Serve as the primary advisor on employee relations, performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Oversee HR operations including policy administration, leave of absence management, workers' compensation, payroll oversight, and HRIS optimization to improve processes and minimize organizational risk. Drive workforce planning, recruiting strategy, succession planning, and leadership development to support business growth and organizational effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with leadership responsibility
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing, food production, distribution, or CPG facilities
- Experience leading and developing Human Resources professionals
- Strong employee relations experience including investigations, performance management, conflict resolution, and employment decision-making
- Strong knowledge of California employment law including FMLA, CFRA, ADA, wage and hour regulations, and workplace accommodations
- Experience leading HR operations, HR process improvement, policy development, compliance, and HRIS optimization
- Demonstrated ability to influence leaders and partner effectively with Operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Professional fluency in both English and Spanish
- Strong analytical, communication, coaching, and leadership skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms preferred
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
- Master's degree preferred
