Job Summary
Execute strategic workforce planning, compensation command, and organizational effectiveness initiatives to drive cultural transformation at the Garland manufacturing plant. Partner with talent acquisition for onsite hiring, champion flawless HR policy compliance, and leverage data analytics to inform business decisions. Manage employee relations, support Total Productive Management, and lead change efforts for the 1,000-person non-union workforce. Maintain onsite presence Monday through Friday, including potential first-shift hours. Support site leadership in engineering solutions for business challenges while ensuring ironclad adherence to federal and state employment laws.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of Experience as a HR Generalist Supporting hourly employees within a manufacturing environment
- Strong eye for business
- Project management
- Technical proficiency in workplace technology and systems (eg. Workday, Kronos, MS Office Suite, etc)
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and other key customers
- Influencing through data and insights
- Excellent organization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leading change through others
- Adaptability – Maintaining effectiveness in the face of changing priorities and tasks
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Onsite Presence Monday-Friday
- Might include some work outside of first shift operating hours
