Job Summary
Lead the Sr. Human Resources Generalist role by functioning as a strategic business partner to create and execute HR solutions, manage full-cycle talent acquisition and retention, and conduct workplace investigations. Provide coaching to managers on employee relations and process improvements, while performing advanced functions such as conflict resolution, performance management, and suspension reviews. Drive cultural engagement initiatives, maintain affirmative action programs and EEO-1 reports, and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws. Collaborate with client groups to shape business strategy and assist in developing new policies and procedures. Report on HR metrics and prepare presentations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or a related field
- 5 to 7 years of relevant human resources experience
- Flexibility to come in early or occasionally work off shift hours to provide support to off-shift as needed
- Knowledge of EEO, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, OSHA, Workers Compensation, DOL and other related Federal & State laws
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Ability to effectively problem solve
- Ability to understand and analyze data to make decisions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a lean manufacturing, business system-based company environment
- Experience recruiting hourly and salaried employees
- PHR or SPHR or SHRM-CP certification
- Experience with UKG
