Job Summary
Oversee nighttime operations for a designated terminal dock section, managing forklift traffic, unloading, picking, and sorting palletized freight. Lead up to 30 local LTL drivers and dock personnel to achieve production schedules while building loads based on labor and freight levels. Monitor dock production, hours, overtime, and facility Key Performance Indicator goals to ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA standards and operational models. Maintain a safe work environment by supervising proper trailer loading regarding cube and weight.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment (preferably within the LTL industry)
- Strong leadership qualities
- High aptitude for technology
- The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be available for Monday-Friday: 10:00PM-8:00AM
- Location in or willing to relocate to Williamsport, PA
Desired Qualifications
- An Associates or Bachelor's Degree
