Job Summary
Partner with business leaders to design and implement strategic HR programs that support organizational objectives across the Netherlands and wider European network. Act as Country Lead to ensure compliance with Dutch labor law and social legislation, while managing effective partnerships with three Works Councils and unions. Drive talent management, succession planning, and performance initiatives to build organizational capability, coaching managers on leadership development and team effectiveness. Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster a collaborative work environment aligned with global values. This role requires deep knowledge of local processes and fluent Dutch and English skills, reporting to local and regional leadership within Avery Dennison's European Headquarters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR experience
- Several years in a senior HR business partner or manager role within an international environment
- Deep knowledge of Dutch labor law
- Deep knowledge of social legislation
- Experience with local works council processes
- Experience in CLA negotiations
- Fluency in Dutch
- Fluency in English (verbal and written)
